RUSH: Only you know the answer. What are we talking, what years are we talking? Are we talking the nineties, late eighties? Did Occidental have an affirmative action program that you’re aware of?
CALLER: Not when I went there, they did not. But they did, I’m sure, when Obama went there. So you’re thinking that that could possibly be what allowed him to get in?
RUSH: Well, if what you say is true, if the entrance requirements are what they are, you know, affirmative action was a program designed to allow people in who otherwise wouldn’t get in on the premise that they’d been discriminated against most of their lives, because of their skin color.
