Caller Tony: Hello, Rush. It’s a pleasure to talk to you. I know we only have a minute so there will be real quick. I happen to be a pilot, a retired military pilot. I’m very proud of that. I happen to be black. I waited and changed my day-to-day just to speak to you and your audience. This stuff about race has gotta stop. If we want to look at people that we want to emulate, I would just like to draw people’s attention to the Tuskegee airmen and one of my heroes: Benjamin O. Davis Jr.Those guys are the reason that I got to where wings, and they’re the reason I got to serve my country. And they were great Americans. And they didn’t complain about anything. And the last thing I want to say is that my parents grew up in Jim Crow. They taught me to pay my own way. Do not have anyone else pay. Pay your own way.
